Apex Board & Ride Co. is seeking professional advisors who can actively participate in trainings, lead product demos, and host informative sessions for business owners to strengthen brand knowledge and drive store success. We’re looking for individuals with deep industry experience as category managers, buyers, sales managers, brand representatives, professional athletes, or specialists within skateboarding, surfing, or snowboarding. This role will provide expert insights on board sports trends, advise on product selection and category growth, and help shape strategies that resonate authentically with our community. The advisor will guide sales approaches, recommend staff training focuses, and ensure the Apex Board & Ride Co. experience stays true to the passions and culture of the board sports world. They will also bring fresh ideas for local marketing, sponsorships, loyalty programs, and brand partnerships that elevate our connection with customers. We want someone with five or more years of industry experience, strong relationships or firsthand athlete insight, a sharp business mind, trend awareness, and excellent communication skills, someone who can help drive success by blending insider knowledge with strategic thinking.

General Manager (All Locations), at Apex Board & Ride Co.
Key responsibilities include motivating and leading a team to meet and exceed sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating an engaging shopping atmosphere. This role involves training staff on product knowledge across all Apex Board & Ride Co. categories, staying ahead of industry trends and customer preferences, supporting local marketing efforts and brand activations, organizing events and partnerships within the board sports community, and executing corporate campaigns, loyalty programs, and seasonal events. Operational duties include overseeing day-to-day store functions, implementing corporate policies, merchandising strategies, and inventory management practices, and utilizing POS systems and reporting tools for smooth operations. The General Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team, conducting performance reviews and coaching, and fostering a positive team culture that reflects the Apex Board & Ride Co. brand. Inventory and merchandising tasks include managing stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and corporate teams, and executing merchandising strategies to enhance the in-store shopping experience.
Ideal candidates have at least three to five years of retail management experience in board sports, outdoor lifestyle, or specialty retail, with strong sales and leadership skills, a passion for board sports, excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities, and flexibility to work weekends and peak seasons.
